frame tags

I haven't seen this yet, I have a crappy ace 90 frame with a title . and a good ace 90 frame without a title, is there a easy way to remove the tag and place on my good frame ??? Thanks for your ideals

If there are matching numbers stamped into the frame that match the tag, then no, no easy way.

Right the frame has a stamped number also

Where is it, I've only seen the little brass tag next to the left rear shock

I'm asking about early ace 90

The Ace 90 does not have the frame stamped. They only have the frame tag above the left rear shock mount.

And yes, there is an easy way to remove the tag without damaging. The holes for the tiny studs are drilled all the way through. Use an ice pick or a dental pick to push them out from the back side. It will take a moment to find the holes but they are there. I use a 90 degree angled pick. All you have to do is get them started and then you can pull them out with needle-nose pliers

P.S. The tiny studs that attach the tag on the steering head for the later Models are the same. You can push them out from the inside without damaging the tag since they are also drilled all the way through.

thanks, That is what i'm looking for, I did check and didn't see the holes, I guess I need to open my eye's a bunch more, Thanks again
