Hi All,
Im from the UK and have joined the forum hopefully to exchange information and ideas but primarily to use your knowledge to help me get my newly aquired Wombat running sweetly so I can do some green laning in the forthcoming summer.
Ive loved bikes as long as I can remember but gave them up with the arrival of a family , I then got back into 2 wheels about 10 years ago.
I knew about the Wombat about a year ago and have just prized it away from its last owner, it was last on the road in 2003.
I just want to get it working ok to use for fun.
I currently also run a Ducati 999.

You've come to the right place! Lot's of helpful - and extremely knowledgeable Hodaka fans here.

Which Wombat do you have? The earlier "toaster tank" (chrome tank) version? Or the later version with primary kick-start and painted tank (like Vic's)? Are thinking about joining the Hodaka Club? Are you cursed with ethanol blend petrol in the UK? Can you get non-ethanol petrol for the scooter? Do you have a Workshop Manual? Do I sound like an excited kid who has found a new friend? . . . . Good.
