100 ace wiring

Hi,

I have a pair of 100 ace that I have imported to the UK to add to my Wombat

Trying to get one of the aces going. The ignition lock is seized. So I got a new lock and key from the US. It does not match either bike.

I will to cut the connector.

Has anyone got a wiring diagram that i could use and try and get it running.

Frame numbers are

A33978 & A53438

Could someone tell me what year they are and some info on them please.

Its an expensive job getting parts over from the US. Can't find anyone in England who is an expert on them

The A-33 is most likely a 1969, the A- 53 should be a 1971. The wiring diagrams are available online, or try : Hodaka-parts.com they are now the go to place for parts and info.

A33978 is a ace 100 model 92 they quit that model with A38712. Your A53438 is listed in my data as a model 92B and it started with frame 51013. I do not have the year to either but my data shows the 92B started in January of 1971 with some modifications added before that time.

I work off the I.D. chart that Bruce young put together and it has frame numbers listed to what years they would be. So my year quotes are from his list, I didn't list the model number ( my bad).

I have the shop manual for all Ace 100s and Super Rats! When you know the years for sure, I can shoot you pics of the wiring diagrams! Let me know! Victor

If you have the large headlight bucket, the Ace 90 diagram is the correct diagram to use. The diagrams were the same for the early Ace 100's and the Ace 90's. It didn't change until the emergency switch was introduced on the smaller headlight bucket.
