Off To Hodaka Dave!

Post by viclioce »

I made the decision today. The Green Toad is not developing anywhere near the compression it should be developing. I’m guessing the seller who said this was a .020 overbore did not know what he was talking about.

I have spark, I have fuel, but I’m getting maybe 90 psi compression readings! So off it goes to Hodaka Dave. Terry said $45 to mix it out and bore it, IF it needs boring.

I’ll keep you posted on the progress, but Terry & Dave won’t be in the shop for over a week while they make the last trip, in a semi truck, to Paul’s & pick up the remaining inventory. So I’ll have more news probably mid November. :ugeek: Victor

I want to see video of a semi going up paul's driveway. Hard enough in a pick up truck. And near impossible to back a truck into where the building is.

If anyone on the planet can get the Green Toad top end dialed, its Hodaka Dave. I have a magical Hodaka Dave top end on my pumped up Super Rat with at least 20 motos on it, mostly in the screamin' reamin' rev range, and it still rocks.
