Mystery Head
I discovered the head in my stash. Looks like Hodaka, but has no part # embossed on it, has a "lip" on one edge, square area around combustion chamber, sized for 90 or 100. Anyone recognize it?

Yes it is !!! That head was made for the ACE 90 with a +.080 Over bore. I have one and also have the one with the Chevron. Later on they put the Super Rat Casting Numbers on it and installed it on the Super Rats. It all started with the ACE 90 ! Joe Ormonde.

Joe the head was made for the Ace 90 standard to +.040 bore. The ace 100 wasn't even born yet. I installed one when they first came out, still works very well. ----------------Clarence

Re: Mystery Head
I know that. I have one that the Combustion Chamber is larger than Bobs Head. So far I have found 3 different Chamber styles for the ACE 90 Race Head. Bobs Head looks to me like the one that is the Super Rare Race Head for +.080 over bore. I need to post Photos!!! I`ll have my son help me out. Photos will show you what I can`t explain. I`ll Bet you that the ACE 100 head gasket fits Bobs Head Perfectly.Joe.

Re: Mystery Head
I think heads were modified by machine shops. I could be wrong but my parts books don't list heads for various bores, for the ace 90 it only lists 912501R. --------Clarence
