Remember when I told you guys I use some Bar Keepers Friend for cleaning chrome & stainless steel?
Here’s before & after photos of my exhaust shield. Cleaned it first with the Bar Keepers & then some aluminum foil & Water after the Bar Keepers.
Though there are some scratches in the middle diwn to below the chrome, I think it looks much better after the cleaning. Time elapsed was about 10-15 minutes.
Make sure to enlarge to really see the differences!

Do you use water with the bar keepers or scrub with it dry

I used warm water and an old terry cloth wash rag, from the wife’s rag bag!

I’m assuming those curved scratches are kick lever related? I can’t imagine anything else doing that. Going to try and clean it out a bit with the brass wire brush wheel on my drill.
