Fork oil for trials
Any recommendations for fork oil weight for trials riding? My forks are stock rebuilts but will be carrying a 225 lb. rider. This will be in the lower, less technical classes.

Resist the urge to run 10wt. I've been there, done that. I'm in about the same rider weight class - and with 10wt on a hot day, steep uphills are a bear! The virtually non-existant damping with 10 wt on a hot day will buck you off on uphills. Ambient temperature is a bigger controller of required fork oil viscosity in stock 30mm Hodaka forks. 20 is the minimum you'll get away with (I think) . . . and 30 may be better.
