Hodaka Show in NY in August

Post by Makotosun »

A friend of mine back east alerted me to this upcoming event in August! If you are in that neck of the woods, mark your calendars!

They have a Facebook page as well:

I haven't seen the poster yet, but this is the show I've been talking about.

For those of you that may be thinking of attending, bring your Hodaka or any other bike you may own to show. The show is outside on the museum grounds and is free. If you want to tour the museum there is a fee to enter, but you can go in and out all day if you want. They do have a fairly decent bike display inside that is a permanent display. Range from early 1900s up to late model bikes. They also have a display of a lot of the things Glenn Curtiss had his hand in, motorcycles, airplanes and boats. The planes include WW1 and WW2 as well as seaplanes and "private" aircraft. Boats are wood hull and are top of the line for their day. It is worth the trip.

I hadn't seen your other thread as I am a long way from New York! I saw the poster on Facebook, so just wanted to share! Wish I was a lot closer.

The area that the museum is in is Finger Lakes wine country, so if you want to plan a weekend or week even, there are over 300 wineries in close proximity.

Wanted to bring this back up as it's in my "back yard" so to speak. I've been going to this show for a few years now and always have a good time.
