FIRST! Do NOT shoot the messenger! Bran spank'in new member! With another oil question.
I bought a nice 72' Ace 100 B. Manual says 30wght for gear box? There has got to be something better?
How about Synth 2-stroke mix? Ratio?

Nooooooo . . . don't use Synth 2-stroke mix at any ratio in the transmission.

NOTE: This response may be useless so far (but the above advice IS accurate)

BelRay 70 or 80 wt gear oil for motorcycle transmissions.

Yamalube 2R for premix - general street use and trail riding 40:1
