72' SR (93B) Rider Tank Needed
72' SR (93B) Rider Tank Needed
My 93B chrome Super Rat tank is leaking and too thin to salvage. Hoping someone out there has a decent replacement tank (P/N- 93900) this bike. Has same part no as model 93-93A (69-71') so that may help. Thanks!

Any Ace tank should work. It won't have the nice slim racing tank profile of the Super Rat tank but would be fine for a rider.

Clark Mfg has them in plastic , Strictly Hodaka carries them . In different colors too!

I saved one like that with Caswell sealer. Something to consider.

Maxie, why don't you hip him to the "Partridge Family Special"? Be nice to see that bad boy back in business.

A couple of reasons. Economics for one. It would take four Caswell sealer kits to fix the daylight coming in and you could almost buy a Clarke tank for that. The second reason is that the raccoons have hidden it somewhere. They've somehow figured out how to get in the Hodaka shed again. Otherwise I'm game. I'm pretty sure it's still on the forty acres somewhere.matt glascock wrote:Maxie, why don't you hip him to the "Partridge Family Special"? Be nice to see that bad boy back in business.

PS--remember the time the raccoons began to modify the exercise bike in the Hodaka shed?

Or the time I put out the game camera and they stole it and shot selfies?

Cute, yet dastardly. Last spring, a family of 6 moved into my attic after the mom ripped the soffit off the eave. $1200 to evict and clean up. While most look at that picture Maxie, and see a cute little furry critter, all I see is a hat.
