Wombat head bolts
2 different style of bolts, where do they go? Parts. Book is not helpful. Also there is a head steady to install.
Re: Wombat head bolts
Those are correct for the 125cc Wombat motor. Not all Wombats had them though.
The longer bolts were used to mount the head brace to the frame. It attached from the right side of the head. It help cut down vibration in the late 94 and 94A engines. The longer bolts were in the right side of the bike. I'll try to locate a photo.
Got one: This the rest of the brace that those head bolts are used for. (again, it's an ebay photo) And this is a photo of it in use: ( This is Ken Smith's Wombat. Photo from Strictly Hodaka website)

Re: Wombat head bolts
I thought they might go on the right side of the motor as it puts the head steady close to the center line of the motor. Thx.
