yamaguchi parts wanted

A friend of mine picked up a Yamaguchi street bike this year at Mid Ohio. Rough, and not complete, seems to be a small bore maybe 60 or 80 cc. Anyone know where one might acquire motor parts? Or what may be used as an alternate?

You might want to check with Hodaka Dave. He has a complete Fuji 80cc motor I used to own and I don't know if he has any plans for it yet.

If it's a Fuji motor, I have a source for parts. If the mount pattern is the same, a Hodaka upgrade may be feasible.

Have you seen the engine? these are 80cc Yamaguchi engines.

Other than some cosmetic details on the case covers, the Fuji motor internally looks remarkably similar to an Hodaka motor. I'm not sure if the mounting points are the same. I never took a very close look at the Fuji motor. It came with a parts stash.
