Ace 90 Mod

So awhile back I came across this neat old ad for an Ace 90 in a 24 hour endurance race:

That little bonnet/fly screen caught my eye, and I decided it would be a fun addition to one of my Ace 90’s
Here’s the result - no, not stock/correct etc. - but I think it’s pretty dang cute!

Oh yeah, the little wind screen is nifty!

Note that when you get your copy of the Hodaka book, you'll learn a bit more about John Cosco. (which will also be nifty)

AmmoDave - no, it's steel - can't remember the gauge. A lot of shaping and grinding went into it. I was dropping a couple of tanks off to be re-chromed and took it along too - came back pretty dang nice.
Ed, glad you like it - John Cosco is another thing to look forward to in the book!
Here's a photo from yesterday - Damon was over at the shop working on his Husky and had to make a trip to the hardware store for some bolts - what better way to go to town than a couple of Ace's?

As we were headed out, the inevitable look came from a fellow walking out: "Hey! I had a Hodaka when I was a kid - a Super Rat - and it was FAST!"
