Hodaka Book

Post by admin »

We have finally seen the final, final final ( yes third final) version of the Hodaka Book. Ken Smith has done a fantastic job putting this all together. The information and photos he has compiled is amazing! It is done and it is absolutely GREAT !!
All of you will be seeing this book just as we will for the first time at this years Hodaka Days. You will not be disappointed!
A huge thanks to Ken and to Ed for all of the hard work and long hours that were spent on this project. The Hodaka World should be very proud for what they are about to see and read in the coming months.
Thank you
Paul

No you will be riding the Bad Rock trail ride
Eating at the barbecue, coming to the book release party, swap meet, parade, etc....
No time for the chair and book until we get home.
It will be a huge blast and truly an event in this modern day and age you have to experience!
I keep saying this but you never know when or if this might end. Don't put it off any longer. Dan it will be EPIC!!!
Thank you for coming!
See you in Athena!!

OK -I just got an Add for this book from Octane Press - Wondering if this is part of the deal or if they have somehow poached the printing of the book??? It looks like a good add but I didn't see anything saying "Offical" Hodaka Printing or some such thing!!

Kaity was able to upload two pages of the new Hodaka Book to our shopping pages.

I have been contacted recently about the Hodaka Book being sold elsewhere and is it the same book that Ken had written.
The answer is yes it is the same book. I cannot fault a big company from seeing the potential to sell Hodaka Books hey why not all it means to them is $$$$.
All I can say is that Ken Smith had made three round trips from Sydney to the U.S. for this book project. He did not do this to get rich he did it because of the people and the brand plus one hell of a great story too! There is a lot of time, sweat, tears and joy that involved many of the original PABATCO and Hodaka folks. For some it was just being able to tell the real story was enough.
FYI there has been great support thrown our way and for that both Ken and I thank you.

Any of the books that are sold through Strictly Hodaka are a partnership with Ken Smith. All books we sell will be autographed by Ken Smith and you cannot get this anyplace else but here.
I just wanted to put the rumors to rest that Ken and I have joined forces with a large chain- Not true.

Thank you
Paul

In order to get the complete Hodaka story, you have to buy my series of Hodaka books:
The Hodaka bolt book
The Hodaka washer book
The Hodaka seat cover book....

You get the idea. There are about 50 books in the series.

So my next book won't be 'How to win at motocross', is that what you're trying to say?

Dearest Kenneth I believe Mr. Preston Petty has already written that book "How to win at Motocross" but together this weekend we might come up with a slightly different name for your book. Please call to discuss if you are not to busy searching for that missing plane.
Respectfully of course

Just read the read. Not sure if I understand when I will get my "premium" copy I ordered. Will I be able to pick it up at HD14?

Yes Rick you may pick up the book(s) at Hodaka Days. They are ALL being shipped directly to Athena where Ken and I will take possession. Both Ken and I will see the finished books for the first time when we get to Athena. Ken will be autographing all the copies that Strictly Hodaka will be selling.
We had two ways to order each book ( Hardcover and the "collectors") one was to be "picked up" in Athena while at Hodaka Days ( no shipping charges) and the other offering was to "be shipped" once I return from Athena on or around July 3rd.
Call or email me if there are any other questions please.
Thank you
Paul
