unleaded gas?

I am getting ready to fire up a super rat that I have been restoring and I was wondering if unleaded fuel is all right to run in it. I normally use VP racing fuel in my YZ Yamaha that I use for trail riding. Would appreciate any advice about this. I used to ride a super rat when I was a kid and cant remember if we even had unleaded back then. Thanks

Unleaded is fine, I don't know where you live. If non-ethenol is available use it. Here in So-cal I use Unleaded 93 octane that has ethenol and the bike runs fine. Just drain the fuel system if you store the bike for a long period.
