Re: Hodaka tank "repo" from India
Hello, This is Bruce from Hodakaparts.com IDAHO, its a sign of the times,
it is enteresting to see all these diff. manf. jump on our band wagon and sell direct to customers their products. I think we will see more of that type of thing in the future,
The Vintage Market is a viable growing market and we are being looked at for more sales and
profits. Just be careful. when buying products from outside the ol USA. Bruce

Re: Hodaka tank "repo" from India
Bruce,
The folks in India and China are making lots of repo tanks for other vintage bikes too like BSA, Norton, Triumph...
Looking at the PICs this is not exact copy of a Combat Wombat as it looks to wide in the rear and the filler hole looks too far back. But still a decent tank if someone can't find an actual Hodaka Tank but wants a metal chrome one and wants to spend that kind of money....
I wonder if they cleared using Hodaka name with Paul?
I only posted this as I thought it was interesting. True you need to be careful about off shore but then you need to be careful WITHIN Shores too!
