MY MODEL 71 HODAKA

I am looking at selling my Thunderdog. A perspective buyer wanted to check the motor number to see if it was the same as the vin number. Neither of us could find the location of the engine number. Where did Hodaka stamp the number on the 250 motor? Your assistance would be appreciated.

Only a few specialty bikes had matching numbers. The real question would be whether your frame and engine numbers match your title.
