Now that the West Coast event is over we can talk about the east Coast.
I understand that it conflicts with the Unadilla, NY event, but the next “East Coast Junk Yard Association” riding event is the first weekend in June 2017. Many of us are unable to attend Hodaka Days every year, so the best we can do is try to have something local. In the past we have used the “Ohio Valley BSA Owners Club” event in Toronto OH, held every June, as a suitable substitute. They have a Reliability Run (Dual Sport) event that is great fun. We are trying to make the 2017 event a Hodaka hostile take-over. The ride has great trails and back woods winding 2 lane black top roads. Officially the bikes need to be street legal, but local authorities have been looking the other way in past events. Only “looking” street legal seems to be working out fine. I have personally ridden it several times on my non-street legal Hodakas with no issues. The local law has been very accommodating. See photo of the 2 Combat Wombats that will be there this year.
