Tire option!

For those who may be having tire size issues I thought I would post this option.

One of my Road Toads had a 17" rear wheel and the other had an 18" rear.

I had bought some Shinko Trials tires in the 17/19" combo and they were good tires for $44 each. However I had problems finding the 18" so I called MC Superstore back and they found me the 18" in a Shinko dual sport called the Golden Boy. It's a 3.50 x18 36p tire and their part number for it is an SR141. This tire also is a price of $44. Here's a pic of the tread mounted on my Toad.

Remember this is just additional info and not meant in any way to compromise Paul or his tire sales. I just know tires are getting harder to find. Victor

Thanks for posting Victor.I might try that on my Ace hundert. Does it feel pretty soft and grippy?

Very soft & grippy! Not as grippy as an MX tire, of course, but really nice compared to a Trials tire! I have the Shinkos on my Model 03 Wombat too! Victor

For those who may not be aware, I was told that Shinko bought all the old Yokohama molds when they went under. Victor

I ended up going with IRC tyres, but that Shinko looks pretty nice
