Brake Rod length

Any one know the length of a 94A Wombat Brake rod #949106 and a 03 Wombat brake rod # 39106?. I have an 03 swing arm that I'm going to put on an 01 squirt which I believe is about 1 1/2" longer and I'm wondering if I have to have an 03 rod or if the 94A rod will work?

Brake rod length in my 1976 Model 03 is 23" as I measure it on the bike. Mine isn't perfectly straight, but it's still functional. ; D Victor

Thanks Victor. When you get a chance would you mind measuring the 03 swing arm. I just went out and measured the squirt brake rod and it is 18 1/2" then I pulled out the swing arm that was supposed to be an 03 arm and surprise - its about the same as the 02 so I got took on the first swing arm or there is no difference in the length. The 03 was supposed to be about 1 1/2" longer then the wombat swing arm and fit the squirt/wombat frame. I am just trying to pick up a little more wheelbase.

OK. I measured from the center of the swing arm bolt to the back end of the swing arm on the right side & got 19 3/4". Hope that helps! ; D Victor

Great Thanks - that is right at 1 1/2" longer. So now to find a real 03 swingarm or just live with it which ever comes first.

Yea - I looked there- I thought I saw one a day or so ago but if so it's gone now. I've got time and with all the other stuff I've got going now waiting to find one would probably be a good thing. I'd like another 1 1/2 inches though.
