Re: Yamadaka project
Sounds like sour grapes to me regarding the carb vanes. Perhaps your customer is just a better cart driver. So with the Intelajet, from what you describe, the induction regulator can be mounted for on-the-fly tuning? Clever. I presume the effects are seen mostly in the more open end of the throttle range so being able to dial in the jetting in real-time under those circumstances seems to be a distinct advantage. Also, you indicate a continuously variable adjustment sweep rather than the detented one on the Dialajet. I like the sound of that, too. I'm going to score one. Thanks for hipping me to the updated rig. Hang tough, Rich. I know what you are going through. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you too. Yes the intela jet takes care of the needle area as well as top end main. One of my customers with a cr125 shifter kart just reads his EGT and adjust to get 1050 on it and calls it good he loves it

Re: Yamadaka project
Finally made a front fender mount . The HT pipe cause the fender to be forward mounted a bit. Next step I'm going to weld up a 250SL chain tensioner to the swing arm that also functions as a chain guide. I cant use the Yamaha chain guide since it now has a larger 520 chain and that makes the sprocket larger with the same tooth count .

Just curious as to why you chose Yamadaka as opposed to Hohama?

Well Now I have the pipe guard on to protect the expensive Ht pipe cost of pipe and ceramic coating over $500 don't want to smash it.
