Well, one thing about having to put the bikes away is that it frees up time for projects. We got our first snow here on Thursday and today I put the last one away. (my '76 DT400C) I rearranged my garage and brought my bench inside. I got my B+ project off the wall, (I had hung the frame and wheels etc from hooks --- VERY limited space) and I'll get back at it soon.
As much as I hate winter I don't know how I'd find the time to work on stuff if I could ride all year long.
