Dirt Band

Post by MTrat »

Trivia challenge. I was recently watching a program on the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and was reminded of a relationship of them and Hodaka. Who can recall this???????????????

In addition to what thrownchain mentioned - the soundtrack running through my mind when riding the Bad Rock Trail Ride :-) . . . there was also the sound track for the Bad Rock Movie. :-)

If you watch the Bad Rock dvd, it also has some additional info about the band and other songs they did for a Hodaka commercial.

Well, you are all very correct in your assessment of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band involvement with the original Peter Starr Bad Rock Movie.
If you watch the new DVD, there is a segment about the band and how they did the music. It was the first time they had ever done the sound track for a film. Not an easy task. A great insight as to what it takes to do this.

I believe Strickly Hodaka still has them.

Go to the Strickly Hodaka website, put bad rock in the search and it'll take you right to it.
