Uncle Whitey's memorial ride and ash scattering

Post by JayLael »

Will be held in Clarkston Washington at 10:00 am, on September tenth. We will ride south from Grumpy's tavern, in Clarkston Heights, and head for The rattlesnake grade, south of Asotin. His favorite restaurant is Boggan's Oasis, at the bottom of the Rattlesnake grade, which we will pass by on the way to scatter his remains. His last ride will be in a chrome Hodaka tool can, on Heidi Lael's Wombat. Anyone wishing to go by car is asked to let the bikes go first. Other details will be figured out as we go.

Sounds like a very appropriate celebration of Whitey's life, Jay. What a great guy.

Got an invitation to a family reunion (wife's side) and the notice about Whitey's Memorial Ride on the same day. Now what am I going to do?

PS: What a neat photo of Whitey and his Velocette!
