Paul, We will have room and money paid for you to set up a separate booth for SH or the PP products if you wish.

Besides me, there is Dan "Throwchain" Killian and Stu Gillard. I was hoping Paul would make it with his Preston Petty set up, but I don't think he can. Pity, his booth is paid for. Jack Broomall might be there as well. I was hoping he could show his Harry Taylor replica racer. But he might have committed it to another venue.

It was a hot and sticky day on August 13th. Heat index was 109. One of the highlights of the day was a visit by Dave Dartt of central Florida. Dave signed up last year for the club, but had no Hodaka. He was pleased to tell me he had just purchased an Ace 90, 1964 version, frame number 1706.
Another visiter was Terry Smith. He signed up recently as well. Has several Hodakas. Stu Gilland, Dan Killian and Jack Broomall also were there. Thanks to Stu and Dan for their help.

Rick,

Thanks for filling me in on the ECHJYA, sounds like fun. I wish I could ride with you in the ANF but a wedding and a Wombat that's getting a major upgrade will keep me from attending this year. I will be there next year. Also I'll bring my Chrome Tank Super Rat and the Wombat to next years Oily Pipes show. Great people and great looking bikes. Just too hot this year.

Thanks

Terry Smith

Hey Richard, if you have Dave Dartt's contact info., let him know there are a few of us Hodaka owners in the central Florida, Tampa Bay area, if he ever needs any assistance.

I encouraged Dave to look on this website and keep us posted as to his restoration of the Ace 90 got on Ebay in Phoenixville, PA. Hopefully we will be hearing from him soon.

Hello Everyone

I did attend the Bike Show and had a good time with all of the Hodaka guys
Working on cleaning up a 1964 Ace 90
Stored since 1968 All original and complete with even the original tires and battery and ignition key
Changed the trans and fork oil
Sent out the tank for rust removal and sealing
Cleaned the carb and installed with the tank
Good spark without removing the side cover
Fired up and idled Big Smile
With a new battery All the lights including the stoplight work
Only problem is the carb overflowing Have to revisit the needle valve/seat and floats
I am sure I will need some help from the resident experts

I am returning to Lake Wales FL in Sept

Cell 215-962-9736

Regards to all

Dave Dartt
