Finding a new 125 head
This is some of the head's I've picked up to see what will work on my 125. Some are are cool and show promise and some not so much.....but what the hell I'm trying.
Re: Finding a new 125 head
One more 125 head and a early super rat cylinder with what looks like a DG head.

Re: Finding a new 125 head
Back in the 1970's Harry Taylor did a dyno comparison between the stock Hodaka head and a Zundapp 125 radial head modified to have the same combustion chamber/squish band conformation. The dyno room had a large forced air fan system to provide flow for extended run-time dyno tests. He reported finding no significant difference in cooling between the two heads.
With that in mind, I'm sure there are ways to improve cooling with finned (air cooling) type heads . . . but the stock Hodaka head does a pretty good job.

Keep the rubber side down!

There are a few heads on eBay right now too! Both 100cc and 125cc varieties. Some are steals, some are deals, and some are unreals!!! ; D Victor
