I live in Norway, and have just bought myself an.. you guessed it..? Hodaka!! I can't remember seeing one before up here, and I dont know much about the bike other than it was built in the States. I guess someone have turned a trial bike to a roardracer, but I dont know more than that. Have anyone seen the bike before, or can tell me about it I would be happy.
Bike seems to be in good condition. Runs and looks nice. Im going to have a go at a track in some weeks from now.
The bike you have is featured on the Strictly Hodaka Website under "Your Bikes". The type with it says Bilson Tore H. It does say that it is from Norway. A cool bike for sure.
I'm also new here and to Hodakas
That is a stunning little bike! really nice lines.. Looks like 450 Honda front drum...should pull up damn fast on that weight

Yes, Tore H is a friend of mine and I bought it from him. He did not build the bike though, so if anyone have seen it before I would love to know the history of the bike. The sticker on front fork may be a clue?
How much two stroke oil should I use? 4 %?
Im looking forward to test it on the track. I think the engine is tuned, it sounds quite angry Probably, the exhaust could have been better, but I like the looks of it. Not sure if it would look that cool with the cross exhaust like the HT3. Any thoughts?
Nice bike, don't change, ride it and enjoy it. Maybe someone who knew the bike or builder here in the states may add to this story. But keep it as is. You may not see another like it, here or there.
Yea, it's way cool, and I wouldn't change a thing if I were you. It looks to me like a late Super Rat motor in a modified (lowered?) Ace 100 frame with swing arm. The pipe looks like a modified model 98 pipe too, particularly the elongated header pipe and forward cone. I'm just about certain that the gas tank is from a 1960s-era Benelli. Someone put a lot of time and thought into this one.
