Here is the video that Stu Gillard put together of our 5 man group. It's about 10 minutes long.
What a beautiful fun day. Low dust and very little water and mud. Probably the best Bad Rock anyone can remember.
Capt. Eddie rode with us until he lost spark about 2/3 the way through.

Stu, nice video and edit. Are you using a go pro? If so are you using one of these on your mount?

I didn't sound like you are, the little white thing will get rid of the clicking noise that sounds like your camera is loose. Again nice video and Im bummed I didn't make it this year.

Wow! Based on your video, BadRock seems like an easy ride! No hard jumps, no messy mud baths, no washboards or whoopties! I should go up for it, maybe next year. All depends on what date is set. I am leading a ride in the Colrorado mountains hosted out of Salida Colorado for the week of June 18-24. My guess is it will be around the same time next year and I will again have a schedule conflict??? Victor

Victor, the dates are always the same weekend of the 25. The ride is set up for any bike from Ace 90 to Thunderdog, there are some more difficult parts with bypasses, thought the difficult parts can provide some fun.

Kelly, can you post a photo of how that little do-hickey is used? I have one . . . and have not been able to find ANY information regarding how it is used.

I finally carved out 10 minutes to watch the video . . . WHAT A HOOT! Trooly a nifty trail ride!

PS: When your lighting coils start shedding the insulating paper between the coil windings and the core . . . and that brittle paper enters a blender like environment . . . maintaining spark becomes, um, difficult. My first DNF on the Bad Rock, dagnabbit.
