Wombat Frozen swing arm bushings

So, read the previous threads, and watched the videos on how to remove these 44year old bushings. I have soaked mine, used a suitable sized socket and a bfh, but no movement. Was wondering whether the rubber in the bushing would withstand 30 minutes in the powder coating oven, or some selective torch application to the frame? Hate to ruin them if not absolutely necessary. Heat would be a good option to help get them out, but it will damage the rubber, the oven even more.

My buddy has a big bearing press, I am Going to give that a try and see if they can be coaxed out

Just be sure to NOT lay the frame on its side then come down on the upper bushing to press it out - several frames have been, um, narrowed by an operation like that. Back up support must be right at the bushing which is being pressed out/in.
