HoleyMoley! Does that truck have a dump bed hot tub in the back for when guests over-stay their welcome? Nifty Idea.
I'm thinking that truck might not be right down my alley, I'm kind of partial to small bore's. My vehicle of choice back in the 1970's was a 140CID straight six cylinder Ford Falcon window van - before they came up with the Econoline name. It was named the Captain America van. It was powder blue (real powder . . . really needed a good buffing out) with stars and stripes curtains made by "Miss Judy" (my wife of 39.5 years!). If an accident was imminent, you could protect the engine from damage by swinging a leg over in-between the front of the van and the front of the engine house. Those were the days. With raging power from the mighty six and three on the column (and NO weight on the rear tires) I used to "flat track" may way to events on gravel roads. Did I mention those were the days?
Um, the Captain America Van had a bit of a role in the creation of my nickname - Captain Eddie.

Oooooooo, I'm getting nostalgic! Same blue color - add windows and "de-tune" back to the stock steel wheels and you have the Captain America van!

Hahahaa, you guys are making me remember my 1964 Mercury van. I bought it for $175 from a guy who had painted (with a brush) a large tongue on the side. You may recall the Rolling Stones album cover from "Forty Licks"? I quickly painted over that with a roller, (no hack brush job for me!). During the cold Canadian winters I started the van by lifting the engine cover, removing the air cleaner and using my right hand as a choke over the carb. And yes I singed my hand a few times when she back fired.
My wife was not as enamored with the van as I was so I ended up selling it to a buddy who's parents had strongly suggested that it was time for him to leave the nest. He lived in my old van for most of that summer and into the fall.
Another vehicle that I never should have sold.
