Thanks to donations from Strictly Hodaka, Diamond Eye Performance and George Cone, the Hodaka Club will be offering a new, model 03 Wombat 125cc motor as the grand prize in our annual charity raffle to benefit the Athena Gem Theater (and Hodaka Museum!) project. This primary kick, reed valved, engine is NOS, and fresh off the shelf. George is dissembling the engine and replacing the seals that have probably dried out over time, changing the oil and replacing the grease. In addition George is modifying the engine to be able to run with the original oil injection or with premix. Raffle tickets will be available at Hodaka Days.
To complete the project, we need:
- a new 15 tooth countershaft sprocket and;
- a sound secondary (exterior) coil. (A good used coil from a Wombat, Combat or Road Toad will work.
If you can donate either of the needed parts, please contact me.

Re: Help Needed for Hodaka Days Raffle Motor
Oops... Actually, George is not "dissembling" at all (dissembling - conceal one's true motives, feelings, or beliefs.
"an honest, sincere person with no need to dissemble") He's disassembling the thing!
Sorry, George, if any readers mis-took my statement!
