Source for Hodaka specs

Post by ammodave »

I've been out of the Hodaka world for awhile but I think I'm getting the "fever" again. Anyone know an online source for Hodaka specs (tire size, wheelbase weight, etc.) so I can decide what model I should be pursuing. I bought a new 100B+ many years ago and kept it for nearly 30yrs ago before we parted company. I'm in NW Fl and the Hodaka pickings are pretty slim in this neck of the woods.

How about just the specs for a 100B+ and a chrome tank Wombat? Alternatively, anyone have a copy of the road tests for these two bikes from "back in the day"?

I bought the books a long time ago. What do you want to know specifically about the B+?

I was looking for the wheelbase, dry weight , ground clearance and overall length. I'm trying to decide whether I want a Wombat or 100B+. I assume the 100B and B+ are virtually identical.

Ok, here are all the street legal 90, 100s and 125s. Hopefully you know the Models. The only manual I do not have is the 92B+ but I am guessing the specs for the B and B+ are REAL CLOSE!

* The early Manuals ONLY had overall Height - not seat Heights.

All other Heights are seat height and obviously Widths are STOCK handle bars.

Once you pick your bike, you should get a should get the Owners' Manual and the Shop Manual. Just something you NEED to own. You can order them right here on this site. Originals are available sometimes from sources, I got all mine 12 years ago so no idea on other availability.

Hope this helps,

Thanks, that was exactly what I have been looking for. Do you also have the dry weights? As soon as I find a bike I'll definitely get the appropriate owners manual and shop manual.

The dry weight is the last column of the chart I created and attached. Your view may be hiding it. I can see it here. Try clicking on it.

Oops, you're right; my pesky computer chopped off the right column. Thanks again.

Wow. I bought an 03 new "back in the day". Didn't realize it was that heavy..... Stripped it except for the headlight, added knobs and a Petty rear taillight fender.
