Expansion Chamber for SL250

Post by DesertRat54 »

I've just re-visited an old project that I set down a couple of years ago. It's a down pipe for a stock SL250. I guess I was looking for a little distraction--as if I really need one. I'd used an online expansion chamber program, worked out the details, and have created patterns for most of the cones. I recently assembled two cones and the stinger, and it's going together pretty well. The question I have is, has anybody already attempted this? If so, how does it perform? IF there is such a thing, might I inquire as to the dimensions and how you got them? My intent is to build a 250 play bike: 250 motor in a 175 frame, suspension mods, no lights, plastic tank and fenders, aluminum rims... I thought I'd keep it stock except maybe for matching and polishing the ports, and then this down pipe.

Thanks in advance,
