I spent this past weekend enjoying the events at Bohnet Motorcycle Park in Wilson Creek, WA. Trials, Cross Country and VMX. It is a wonderful track and they put on a very fun event. I rode in the Cross Country on Saturday and VMX on Sunday. As I said, the track is wonderful. The Cross Country? Well, my legs will heal in a few more days I hope... It was a little rocky and rough for me and my Wombat. I did not get many pictures, but here is a before and after. I will be back next year, with my Wombat a little better prep'd for this ride. Better shocks and heavier fork oil mostly. There were no other bikes like my Wombat in the Cross Country (mostly Evo and Revo bikes) and only one other Hodaka in the VMX. It is a really good weekend for you in the Pacific Northwest to consider for your calendar next year.

Re: Vintage weekend at Bohnet Motorcycle Park
Sounds like you had a good time Dale. The cross country races can be tough on the body (especially legs), but it gets easier the more you do. I hope that award was full when you got it!

P.S. Nice looking Wombat.

Re: Vintage weekend at Bohnet Motorcycle Park
Yes, Brian it was a great time. It would have been even better with more small bore vintage bikes there, but I am okay with being different... My post here was in hopes of getting a little interest in this event for next year. I understand that they are going to host another Vintage event on Oct. 16th of this year. No details yet though.
No, the cup was not full when I got it, but I took care of that in short order. As for the bike, thanks for the compliment. She was pretty sad when I first got her and she will look great again in a week or two.
