I recently picked up an Ace 90 and need to get new tires for it. Looking for a trials type tread. Any recommendations? Also, would a 3.00 x 17 fit on the rear and 2.75 X 17 work for the front?
Thanks for any thoughts/suggestions
Jim

I think it will be tough to find trial type tread to fit your Ace. Several of us have used Michelin Gazelles. Readily available, reasonably priced and the correct sizes.

Re: Ace 90 Tires
I have purchased and used Shinko SR 241. They work for me. They come in sizes 250 X 17, 275 X 17 and 300 X 17. Give them a look.

Thanks Richard. I did go with the Shinkos, 275 in front and 300 in rear. Should have them mounted next week.

I stand corrected then. Thanks for the info Richard. I had a hard time sourcing the correct size a couple of years ago for my Ace 90. I either missed these or they were out of stock. I just don't remember.

I think they are the same size as my 69 Ace? I bought a set of Michelin moped tires and I'm very happy with them. Strictly street though. As stated above, they are the gazelles.
