old Hodaka dealer
As many of you know we lost an old and very dear Hodaka dealer Harlan Diem about a month ago. His Wife and Daughter are listing some of his used parts on ebay so if you see something coming out of Lincoln Delaware that you may want they could really use the money to help pay with Harlans Funeral expense's. I know this site is not for selling parts there for I don't want to get into what all they have for sale just letting people know if you'd like to help just keep an eye out thank's Scott

Scott you can post anything to help Marie here on this site and the Marketplace page. I will approve any and all posts you have to help them in any way possible.
As a Club and brand we talk about helping all the time. There are many of you out there that do things to help other club members or fellow enthusiasts that folks do not know about. All good stuff!
I do want to take a minute of your time to mention someone who has done something very very special and for all the right reasons.
Harlan's wife Marie contacted me after Harlan's passing. She had questions about the remaining parts and bikes that Harlan had left. She was asking of me direction and advise as the damn "vultures" were already circling above her home. Harlan had not yet been buried and these "gentlemen" were already throwing low ball offers to Marie for parts and bikes. Because of his friendship and respect to Harlan and his honesty I suggested Scott Peatman to come and help her out. Scott lives several hours away from Marie but I felt this was the best person I knew for the job so I called Scott and asked him to help. He did not hesitate to say YES.
He has spent the past few weekends helping Marie identify and organize the parts. Marie has offered to compensate Scott with funds or parts and he has refused.
He is doing the right things for the right reasons. In this day and age this is becoming more and more rare.
I told Scott over the weekend how damn proud I am of him and I do not say that lightly. Scott has a family that he could spend the weekends with.Scott could have accepted parts or money even for the gas to get back and forth but he has not accepted anything and knowing Scott the way I do it is not a thought in his mind.
Scott Peatman represents what is so great about motorcyclists and Hodaka folks particularly.
I'll say it again I am very very proud of you Scott!

Scott, you have my admiration. You are showing by example that it is not necessary to live near by to be a good friend and neighbor.

Re: old Hodaka dealer
I will watch offers at eBay and here to see items that are being offered and do what I can. May even buy some items that I don't need just to help out. Thanks Scott for what you are doing for Marie. Anyone know what the seller log name will show on eBay?
