Road Toad motor replacement
Road Toad motor replacement
I am replacing my Road Toad 100 motor with a standard Ace 100 motor. The front sprocket does not quite line up with the rear sprocket, what is the fix, thanks.

Sprocket carrier on rear wheel must match engine.

Can you specify in what direction, and how much the offset is?

You will need a sprocket carrier from an earlier model. The later model is about a 1/4" wider.

One other thing to watch for is the chain guard. With the narrower rear sprocket carrier installed, the chain will rub against the inside of the chain guard. In addition, you may require a narrrower rear tire.
