Wayne,
If you are working with an 03 bottom end you can not use a super combat or a combat wombat piston as the crank and rod were different on the 03. Therefore the piston pin hole is located differently on the 03. There have been some conversions to the older crank and rod allowing the use of the older pistons, but unless you have that situation the 03 is in a class of it's own.

Hey Wayne,
I can build a crank for you that will convert your 03 to use the early style 125 pistons. From a cost stand point it would be cheaper to find an 03 piston and rings. Assuming a crank rebuild is not in order already.

I do have an NOS .040 03 wombat piston and rings. I will not sell them to you if Paul has them though. I don't want to take away from Paul's parts sales but I do not want to see a Hodaka sitting for lack of parts either.

Paul can let me know if he doesn't have the parts you need and then we can talk if you like.

Hey Wayne,

You scared me with those first few pictures of the 94 Wombat. I was thinking the 03 Wombat piston I just sent will never fit that. Any way looks like you have two good projects to keep you busy.

Yes, the pics loaded........several times. But that is ok.

Lots of help available here if needed.
