Ace 100 lighting
Quick question, just installed new battery in 1970 100 B. With engine off no lights in ignition switch position 2. With engine running at idle all lights work and headlight gets much brighter when emergency switch under headlight is moved to battery position. Is this the way the system was designed?

Re: Hodaka 100 B front fender
Thanks guys for the fender info. Have been doing Japanese restorations for years but this is my first Hodaka. Kind of funny but as I get older I prefer smaller bikes and the 100 B is a blast.

Question: I have a 1970 100B with "Made in Japan" stamped on the rear of the front fender. The fender is a perfect fit, is this original or aftermarket?

Re: Hodaka paint
Thanks, that's the color. I must be partially color blind, looks like an orange and red combination to me. Does anyone have the paint code?

Re: Hodaka paint
Well have been buying NOS painted pieces to verify color, definitely more orange than red, tomato soup sounds close. Does anyone have pictures of Ace 90's and 100's that were put in a collection and never in the sun?

Hodaka paint
I have a low mileage Ace 100B, and am planning some cosmetic paint work. The color is the same Hodaka orange I recall from the 60's and 70's. Question: have seen some nicely restored 100's that are a cherry red that I don't recall, are these restorers taking artistic liberty or was there a color on ...

Wrist pin extractor
Have an Ace 100B and can't seem to find an extractor with threaded portion small enough in diameter to go through the pin. A recommendation would be much appreciated.
