Re: SHIFTING ISSUES
Thanks to all of you for the help. I will replace the control shaft springs and ball receiver, I marked the shaft arm and nut with a black marker before I adjusted so shouldn't be that hard to get it back to were George had it. Thanks again to all of you.

Re: SHIFTING ISSUES
Just read the post by Danny and I noticed one area where I may have a issue; is when the shifting arm is in first gear position it appears to hit the case where that groove is placed. I have a question, will the control shaft spring cause the shifter to pop in in out of gear when trying to ride it. ...

Re: SHIFTING ISSUES
The shifter case was rebuilt by George Cone, so I sure the case isn't the issue. The control shaft spring might be the problem but I do not have the snap ring tool, I currently live in Texas and will be moving to Georgia around the 7 September. I will look at the post by Danny and see if that works....

Re: O ring on kick start shaft
Thanks! just seems that the o-ring is too large, After you reply I went and re-split the cases, I was 12 or so years old last time I worked on a Hodaka. Slowly its starting to come back to me with all your help, Thanks again.

Re: O ring on kick start shaft
Thanks for the reply, I was afraid of that, I do have another question if you have time. The o ring fits tight on the shaft but when you put the shaft into the bore the o ring does not slide into the bore is there a trick?

Can any tell me if the o ring on the kick start shaft goes on the inside of the cases or on the out side on the right by the spring. This is on a 125 CW model 95.
