The 93 has a non cushion hub. Uses the dished sprocket. The 93a and 93b have cushioned hubs. They use the flat sprocket. Paul has 52t dished sprockets for sale for the 93. Good 50t dished are hard to find.

The last one I restored has always been my favorite. The chrome tank 93 is a great looking bike. Had an 1970 ace 100 when I was 15. I always wanted the SR. First saw it in cycle world back then. Now I have all three.

I would but I would have to find another place to live if you know what I mean.

Finally finished restoration of all three chrome tank super rats. Four years to find bikes, parts and time. Lots of help from Paul and Roger L. for motor work.

That makes sense. That is the sprocket Paul sent me for my 93 rat restore. It worked perfectly. I know the 93 came with a 50t but they are impossible to find. Paul suggested the 52. T looks great

Yes. I thought thought ace 100 were 423. But I could be wrong. Check with Paul. I know he also has a bunch of nos sprockets that have "blemishes" that he sells as used as well.

Paul maintains this site through profits from SH. He sells these sprockets at a reasonable price. Would be good business to not sell, buy products he sells on his site. Just a thought.

The dirt squirt rear is close to the super rear rear. The arc is a little larger. Use the mounting holes on the dirt squirt for the back number plate bracket and drill two new holes for mounting. I have had two frames powder coated. One 93 and 1 92 by powder tech. They have a perfect match for the early frames. Not use where you are but shipping can't be too bad. I paid 200 for complete sandblasting and powder coating. I think Paul has used them as well. I would have to dig up the color code...

Air cleaner. EArly 93s had the flat disc outer cover. At some point the 93 changed to the newer style. Not sure when but would be interested in knowing.

I have an picture with an early super rat that,I think, shows the two piece overlay sprocket on the rear. The picture says printed in Japan.
