Re: Oil Seals
I think it is easier to get a slightly thicker seal for the left flywheel side. I use thicker one on all of mine. You could measure to make sure it does not push in too far. -----Clarence

Re: early super rat rear sprocket
I sold a lot of early super rat's none had the overlay rear sprocket. I am very glad they didn't. The overlay sprockets created a lot of problems as they would slip a little and damage the smaller sprocket. Prototype picture ??-------------Clarence

if the engine got really flooded and you put in a new plug, you could wet foul it really quickly. If the plug stays bone dry I would try a teaspoon of gas in the spark plug hole. Dale I'm to old to push but that is what good friends are for. I did not say wives! -------Clarence

Richard there should be a easy answer here, just tell the wife there is no way she could possibly ride without touching both feet on the ground, and she will prove you wrong. Richard I see your heel in the air maybe 4inch heals would do it. Remember we would have never been able to ride big brothers...

Re: Front and rear sprockets
Gearing is such a personal thing. A tuned hodaka is going to run considerably better than factory stock. Some folks like to wind them out and others never will. Where you ride and how you ride will will determine what sprocket you need, it will not be the same for all riders. I think the 14 tooth fr...

Getting what we pay for, some ebay parts are not useable they may look okay on the surface but could be chipped or worn beyond useable. When we go for a rebuilt we need the best parts available and some restores want NOS. Sand blasting where I live is $50 to $75. My mixed paint about $80 per quart. ...

Re: 125 Wombat runs great then headlight on runs bad
Rob I would suggest riding up hill so you can always coast back. Check spark when it Quits. Also check the flow of gas. Rob what plug are you using. Do you have good compression when it quits. How long does it have to cool before it starts and after it starts how long will it run.-------- Clarence
