Kick Start rubber

Ok, do any of you pros have a suggestion or a proven method of getting the new rubber onto the kickstarter without splitting the seam? I tried heating in microwave but that didn't do a bit of good other than to weaken the seam. The rubber on my shifter went on pretty easily that damned kick starter ...

Thanks all, I did find a Kenda Klassic 80/100-18 at VividRacing.com for $70 all in (shipping and tax)...got it ordered up.

I like the Kendas also! I usually get the Kenda Classic or Trakmaster, 80/100-18. :ugeek: Victor Victor...you have been a huge help here and on FB, thanks. I can't seem to find a source for a 80/100-18 rear. I tried buying a 100/100-18 and it is too wide for the CW. Any suggestions on where to find...

Thanks, that is the plan. Got it running today for first time. Now that I know she will run the plan is to do a thorough tear down and rebuild.
