I would Vote for "Powder Coat"!

It is Thicker, and Harder than Paint, and will "Stick" better.

It comes in a LOT of colors too.

Re: Wombat Side Mounted Aircleaner

I also have a Complete Wombat Aircleaner, Filter, Rubber "J" connector Pipe, and Spring Clip.

Since I am using a Battery Box / Key Ign. Switch, I have to use the Old Original Aircleaner.

It is a Side Tab Mount and was New for $49.00 from BMI Kart and Mini bike parts.

Yes, Like I said, I use to Drill a small hole in the "Stiffener Rib in the Foot Break Lever" mainly to hold the "Wire Brush Guard's Position". This time I just wraped a Cable Tie thru a space in the Foot peg mounting plate in the Frame. I might redo it to the Original one (like y...

"Foot Brake Lever Brush Guard"

I just installed (Fabricated) a "Foot Brake Lever Brush Guard" on my Ace 100 Model 92 like I use to put on my Hodakas way back in the 60s. I use to drill a 1/8 dia. hole thru the "Stiffener Rib" of the Break Lever, about where the Foot Peg Mount area was.. Then I would Lace some ...

Wireing Spokes

Has anyone ever heard of "Wireing Spokes for added Strength"?

"Back in the day", I read that if you wired the "X" of spokes where they pass each other, it would make them stiffer and stronger.

Re: Engine Rebuild - Parts and Things to Check or Measure?

I guess you could wait until the STOCK (Steel shifter shaft, to Alum. case hole) wears out, then do the Mod. (it is done on the easy to removable Left shifter case.

Re: Engine Rebuild - Parts and Things to Check or Measure?

You might want to look into Boring out, and "Bearing Bush" the Shifter Shaft Hole in the Left Outer Case.

This is a Greg Watkins Fix.
