so im thinking i would need the whole rear wheel assembly to line up the motor so the sprockets are in line before installing the the motor . as i would need to cut the current motor mounts off to Aline with the new motor . me thinks this is going to be a long range project .

so ive come upon a 1973 Rickman zundapp . the motor is pretty well toast along with a lot of other parts. thinking maybe putting a hodaka motor in it. 1. is it feasible ? and 2. what would be the best motor for it ? any ideas

i should also add that when i finish a build i take a picture of the engine number and frame number and pictures of all 4 sides , front , back , right and left sides . turn it in to dmv and they will look at them make sure that nothing is out of order then issue a title

victor the fly wheel worked out great . had it welded as per the service bulletin and starts and shifts and every thing goes around like it should . took it to the local car show this year and the guy i got it from came up and was amazed at how it looked , started it up for him and he was very happy...

I would think there's some kind of drag somewhere in the drive train , rear wheel or engine that allows the counter shaft or sprocket to hammer away at each other . Just a shade tree mechanic thinking

up date... rear number plates on a few other tweak's and its ready for the local car show next week . it started running poorly and found there was no spring air adjusting screw , what the @#&$! . anyway got that taken care of and its back to running good again ..... albert
