Wombat clutch disc

Post by Dennis D »

How much "wiggle" should the pin in the clutch disc (part #944020) have? Redoing the motor and it sure looks like a lot of slop in it to me. The bushing for the clutch drive gears was well worn also and may have caused this. It actually has a bit of in and out play in it also. Any sources on them? Terry doesn't have them in stock. Thanks, D

I think that's normal. In my Wombat and in my Aces, that little disk has quite a bit of play and haven't had a problem with any of them. If the clip on the back still there, that keeps the pin from being removed from the disk, and thus keeps all the ball bearings under it.... then I think you're good.
