Is A Super Combat barrel (cylinder) marked with a number?

Post by Larry S »

The reason I ask is because I have a reeded Combat Wombat. It has the Combat Wombat Head (952501) and a reeded barrel with all the bells and whistles, but no number. I'm trying to figure out if it's an Enduro-Cross kit or a Super Combat barrel. Thanks!

I'm not sure , I'm sure the other guys can help u much better but I believe there is a serial number on the bottom right side of cylinder. If you have a part book/manual for the bike it should tell you where the number is if it has one
Best of luck ~ Rylan

If the exhaust port is still in stock condition, you can ID 125cc cylinders by the distance from the top of the exhaust port to the head gasket surface.
Model 94 Wombat (iron cylinder) - 32mm
Model 03 Wombat (alloy cylinder) - 30mm
Model 95 Combat Wombat (alloy cylinder) - 28mm
Model 97 Super Combat (alloy cylinder) - 26mm

also the combat wombat has a narrow intake manifold stud pattern like a Iron wombat and a 93 super rat, supercombat is wider. And the victory port is waay different even if the caomat port is drilled

Thanks for the replies. From the information received I think this is an Enduro/Cross kit on my CW. The top of the exhaust port to the head
gasket surface is 28mm. The reed intake manifold is very different from a Model 97 or 98. It is 32mm but for a flange carb - not a spigot. It has a CW 28mm carb bolted to it.

I'm not sure I will make it to Hodaka Days, but if I do, I will bring it with me. Maybe one of our engine builders can build me a top end that will give my CW Husqvarna type power.
