FYI ... Replacement 12V Headlight for Wombat

Post by kitjv »

Emgo makes an aftermarket 12V chrome headlight assembly (i.e. bucket, lens & trim ring) that is a perfect fit on the Wombat's headlight mounting tabs. The lens measures 7" (over an inch larger than the OEM 6V lens) & comes with a replaceable H4 55/60W halogen bulb. The price is $49 complete. In my opinion, the chrome bucket is an attractive compliment to the chrome fuel tank.

I bought the unit on eBay from an e-store called Moto Chop Shop. (Honest, that's the real name. And serial numbers were not ground off!). Here is the info on the company: www.motochopshop.net,6859 Valjean Ave., #8, Van Nuys, CA 91406, 424-208-9204.

Thanks for the info on the headlight. I was also looking for switches and found this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/400436158399?ss ... 1438.l2649

Does someone have a good idea for the brake light switch? I found one eBay that looked a lot like the stock switch but after getting it in my hand the instruction say don't get wet. So I'm back to looking.
