Oil Level

Is the oil level of ALL Hodaka bikes measured with the "dip" stick screwed out?

I thought it was screwed in. But I always overfill them anyway.
If it doesn't come out the vent, I figure I don't have too much in there.

Ok, I checked my 98 manual to see what it says. Page 9.
"Oil level should be at upper line when cap is screwed in."
Again, I do overfill my bikes. Never had a problem.

He is right the more you have the safer you are
