I'm doing a (very)long term restoration project on a model 99 Road Toad. My manual doesn't list the torque setting for the counter shaft sprocket nut.
Can one of the knowledgeable members of this forum provide me with at least a ball park figure in the inch-pound format? Thanks in advance.
Torque spec for Road Toad countershaft sprocket
Re: Torque spec for Road Toad countershaft sprocket
Steve,
This is just a guess but I would think 150-170 in/pounds would be plenty. My less than scientific approach is to tighten to "real snug" then lock with the locking washer.

Thank you for the quick response Charlie. I'll set it in between your two variables.
